Speaker: Washington Geological Survey, Publications Group

Talk Title:
Redesigning the Washington Geologic Information Portal

The Washington Geological Survey develops and maintains an online interactive map Portal that showcases the Survey's many digital datasets. Over the last couple of years, the Washington Geologic Information Portal has undergone a redesign process driven by user feedback related to usability and functionality. As the Survey prepares for the release of the new Portal, we are excited to connect with our users to direct our redesign process. Our users range from non-technical homeowners to GIS-savvy geoscientists and everyone in between. In this presentation, we will showcase new tools, the redesigned interface, and a streamlined user experience, as well as provide an opportunity for AEG members to provide feedback on the redesigned Portal.
